APPLICATION GUIDELINES

You are eligible to apply for a YCHF grant if you meet all the following criteria

  • You can demonstrate that the funds will medically benefit children within Yorkshire

  • The NHS will not provide the funds which you are seeking

  • Your application is not for an individual child or family.

YCHF is unable to contribute to the on-going costs of repair and upkeep to equipment it funds and holds no responsibility for the equipment

​A condition of funding is that you will complete and submit a grant report form one year after the grant is received on the impact our funding has made. 

Application Guidelines
  • Who can apply for funding?
    Yorkshire based Hospitals, organisations, charities etc, who provide health care to children and babies. Individuals CANNOT apply for funding.
  • When can I apply?
    Applications can be made at any time
  • Who decides if funding is awarded?
    All applications are reviewed by YCHF's Board of Trustees. The trustees assess each application, and make a decision accordingly. It is, therefore, in the applicant's best interests to supply as much detail as possible when making their application. Our trustees may contact the applicant to discuss their application and may wish to visit the hospital
  • Are there any conditions attached to the funding?
    The Ts & Cs are included in the Application Guidance document at the top of this page
